Digit editor screen

This is the screen where the creative work is done: Taking or importing digits, aligning, scaling etc.

If you own an iPhone® you can select the camera in the bottom left corner to take a new picture. Owners of an iPhone® touch can't use this function because the device has no built in camera. After pressing the button the standard iPhone® photo dialog opens. You should take the photo in portrait mode, because the digits are in landscape. You can take or retake a photo as often as you want, if satisfied with the image press the use button. After a short time the image appears in the middle of the screen.

The second button from the left allows you to select a photo from the image library. This is how owners of an iPod touch® are able to create their own clock.

You can move the image with your fingers and scale it with 2 fingers by pinching it.

The center two buttons allow you to rotate the image left or right in case you need to.

The right most button is the alignment button. After pressing it the digit selector opens and you can select an image which overlays the current image. This allows you to center people or to make sure the images taken have the same size. Press the button again to leave the alignment mode.

If statisfied with the image press the top right button. To discard your image and keep the old image press the top left button.
